From one Crowd to Another

It seems Crowdsourcing is being used in some pretty ingenius ways lately and seeing how the world is embracing the concept is quite eye opening and heart warming. Take these 3 examples. Crowdbeacon harnesses the location-based local crowd to offer information and advice (ala MasterCard Priceless Picks app that I wrote about some weeks ago). The magic of having a live Trip Advisor – enter Holiday Crowd. I could really have used this tool when I booked my Fiji holiday. Finally, what about a crowdsourced map of radiation in Japan ? The poor people of Japan have such confused news media about what is safe and what isn’t that this map is offering some support of trusted information.
